SD Bell's Coffee House and Tea Rooms
Idly driving along with the Ralph McLean show on, I had to pull the car over and just listen, and immediately decided we just had to introduce the SD Bell’s audience to this fine artist. Eilidh Patterson’s songs touch the soul and capture the imagination, and her insightful, tender songs have established her as one of N. Ireland’s best-loved songwriters. Beth Nielsen Chapman described her voice as “velvet and air”. An accomplished finger-style guitarist, Eilidh seamlessly blends folk and bluegrass with her crystalline voice remaining the focus throughout. She is joined by Maghera-based singer James Bradley. Citing influences as diverse The Jam, Fleetwood Mac, James Taylor and Counting Crows, James has built a formidable reputation in a short time, his regular radio-play being testament to successful performances at many prestigious events throughout Ireland.
