SD Bell's Coffee House and Tea Rooms
Lewis Smith has been a virtuoso saxophonist on the Irish jazz scene for over 20 years. No stranger to SD Bell’s, he has played here several times under the auspices of Linley Hamilton’s “Mardi Gras” band, as well as with his own Trio. Today he performs a tribute to the great Tenor sax greats, including Wayne Shorter, John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, Dexter Gordon & Joe Henderson. His trio comes out of the very top drawer of Irish jazzists, namely Dublin keyboardist, Phil Ware, and Rohan Armstrong on bass.
