Phoobsering is one of the oldest tea gardens in the Darjeeling West Valley. The estate ranges from 3000 to 6000 feet in altitude. This tea was harvested on 29th March and packed on the 31st March. It is picked from a section of the garden at 4750 feet.
The tea has a good neat green leaf, with silver tip, which produces a dark amber liquor. The flavour is full, with top quality first flush characteristics. Use freshly drawn boiled water that as cooled for 2 minutes and brew for 3 – 5 minutes, depending on personal taste.
