Description
Mexican Finca AlamoFinca Alamo is located in the High Mountains of Chiapas, 1,100 meters above sea level. In a region where over half the acreage is dedicated to Rainforest. Located within El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve the plantation achieves Rainforest Alliance Certified status through sustainable shade-grown coffee practices. This is the most diverse evergreen forest in Mexico, and one of the most important sites for bird migration, with many endemic plants and threatened mammalian species including spider monkey, margay, jaguar and puma. High altitude Arabicas grow more slowly, developing a bean of higher density and fuller flavor. High altitude production areas provide perfect weather conditions (temperature, rain, and humidity) for the best quality coffee.
This fine Mexican medium roast has floral and honey flavour notes, with a characteristic sweetness.
