REFURBISHED

The Coffee Bar has been refurbished to facilitate the ‘new normal’ receiving a new paint job, and reupholstered, replaced and removed seating, (don’t worry, the beloved booths are still intact, but will have discreet screens between them). Table Service will ensure no customer engagement or queuing at the counter. Orders will be taken at the tables, and passed electronically to the appropriate preparation point. New menu offerings and old favourites will both feature.

In order to serve our customers most efficiently, it is now not possible to reserve tables, so we are expecting people to arrive in their own time, and wait patiently to be placed at the most appropriate table.

We do not place time limits on visits, and hope that customers will be content to use the one-way system to exit via the back doors, mindful that they may still like to take the opportunity to purchase from the shop, aided by their server.

Coffee House and Tea Rooms

Where better to sample our fine coffees, roasted daily on the premises, and taste our top quality, fresh, flavoursome teas, than in the very place where they are roasted, blended and packed?

The Leaf & Berry Coffee Bar was established in 1978, as place for local people to meet, socialise and sample the very best tea and coffee.

It quickly captured a wide and loyal customer base, was refurbished in 1987, again in 1999-2000 and 2007. A full refurbishment and expansion took place in Summer 2014, such that we can comfortably seat over 100 covers at any one time. "Bell's" has an extremely broad-based and loyal customer base of business people, young families, tea aficionados, some who have been loyal customers for over 35 years,  and those who wistfully remember the aroma of roasting coffee in Ann Street, Belfast.

We serve light, continental & full Breakfasts, home cooked lunches and afternoon teas (see menu in brief below), and of course our range of espresso and gourmet coffees, and variety of teas are always popular.

6 or 9 item fry including your choice of:

Bacon, Sausage, Egg (Fried, Poached or Scrambled), Homemade Potato bread, Soda bread, Cooked Tomato, Mushrooms, Black pudding, Baked Beans

Filled Soda, Pancakes, Bacon and Maple syrup, French toast, bacon and maple syrup, Porridge, fresh fruit and honey, Yoghurt, granola and fresh fruit And Croissants.

Scones: Plain, Cherry, Fruit and Speciality ranging from:

Raspberry and white chocolate, strawberry and white chocolate, apple and cinnamon, chocolate orange, chocolate lime, carrot cake

Lunch 

Made to order Sandwiches and toasties on white or brown doorstep bread, Paninis, Home made quiches, Home made lasagne, Home made stew 

Daily specials such as sausages, gravy & mash, Tender chicken stack, battered fish and chips.

Soups (changes daily): Cream of Mushroom, Cream of Chicken, Broccoli and Mild Stilton, Vegetable Broth, Thai Chicken and sweet potato, Potato and leek, Sweet potato and lentil, French onion, Pea and ham, Carrot and lentil.

Gluten Free options

GF bread, scones, tray bakes, O’Donnell’s potato crisps, Nature’s Way bars.

Open from:

• 8:30am to 4pm Monday to Saturday;
• 10:00 am to 3:30pm Sunday

Ample off-street free parking is available.
