Each month our SD Bell tasting experts will choose four freshly roasted coffees for you to unbox.
The month of March coffees are:
200g Italian Dark Roast – Continental-style full roast. Made using 100% Robusta for that uncompromisingly classic espresso kick. A very strong, full-bodied coffee with an intense, bitter taste. It has a depth of flavour that really holds its own. Makes an excellent truly Italian style espresso.
200g Decaf City Roast – A Mountain Water Process Arabica, from Mexico. It has been roasted to a ‘City Roast’ shortly after the medium roast ‘1st crack’, so it is less bitter than the darkest roasts but extremely satisfying as an after-dinner espresso. A clean, smooth and well-rounded coffee. Expect sweetness, slight citrus, and hints of chocolate. Perfect as an espresso based drink, but also works well in a cafetiere.
200g- Pure Kenya AA – This single estate AA-grade bean from Samburu, east of the Rift Valley, is a strong-ish medium roast, with that classic Kenyan ‘kick’. Delicious at any time, but our preference is as an after-dinner cafetiere or aeropress. A Great Taste winning coffee.
200g Komodo Dragon – ‘Old Brown Java’ a term given to coffee from a part of Indonesia. Where, after cherries have been pulped and cleaned, have been repeatedly turned, aired and dried for at least five years in large sacks. Our Old Brown Java is rested for six years. The resultant beans have therefore turned in colour from greyish-green to light tan. This process enables the flavour to increase in strength while the coffee loses acidity. A medium-roast Old Java. A rich, smooth all-day coffee that sits particularly well in a cafetiere / French press.

We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 2-4 working days, using either SD Bell vehicles, Courier Service or Royal Mail. This will be determined by destination and weight.
Shipping cost is calculated based on the weight of the products in your basket. You will see the shipping cost prior to paying for your order.
