Assam is one of the world’s oldest tea varieties. Our Assam “Top Tippy” is SFTGFOP1. This stands for: Special Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe 1.
It is one of the finest Assams you can buy. A beautiful tippy leaf, bright colour in the cup and smooth taste. The large leaf makes a delightful gentle afternoon cup, but develops wonderful flavours if left to brew.
