A first-class bean from Rio Verde, a farm established in 1887, the same year in which our great-grandfather Samuel hung his name above the door of his Ann Street shop! We visited this farm in 2019 and were so impressed with the quality of the trees, the husbandry of the estate, processing of the cherries and, let’s be honest, the people we met, that we just had to bring this coffee into our portfolio. It is such a well-screened Arabica, giving a sweet, fruity aroma with notes of sugar cane. Superb! A Two Star Great Taste Winner in 2019.
