Each month our SD Bell tasting experts will choose four freshly roasted coffees for you to unbox.
The month of February coffees are:
200g Captain Cook – A top-quality Arabica bean from Brazil. An incredibly strong coffee, this very dark roast is strong & aromatic with a unique flavour, making it our most popular espresso bean.
200g Seven Seas – Old Brown Java‘ a term given to coffee from a part of Indonesia. Where, after cherries have been pupled and cleaned, have been repeatedly turned, aired and dried for at least five years in large sacks. Our Old Brown Java is rested for six years. The resultant beans have therefore turned in colour from greyish-green to light tan. This process enables the flavour to increase in strength while the coffee loses acidity.
200g Brazil Yellow Bourbon – we visited a farm, from Rio Verde, established in 1887, the same year in which our great-grandfather Samuel hung his name above the door of his Ann Street shop! The quality of the trees, the husbandry of the estate and the processing of the cherries, we just had to bring this coffee into our portfolio. It is such a well-screened Arabica, giving a sweet, fruity aroma with notes of sugar cane. Superb! A Two Star Great Taste Winner in 2019.
200g Tanzania AA – A washed Arabica, dried on raised beds with a growing altitude of 1700 – 1800 metres above sea level, in the region of Mbeya, Mbozi. This Tanzania, graded AA due to the quality and uniformity of the beans throughout every batch, is an exciting and interesting medium roast. Very aromatic and high in acidity with a silky body, and with plenty of fruity notes and hints of caramel.

We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 2-4 working days, using either SD Bell vehicles, Courier Service or Royal Mail. This will be determined by destination and weight.
Shipping cost is calculated based on the weight of the products in your basket. You will see the shipping cost prior to paying for your order.
